The Rape Crisis Center’s goal is to help eliminate or reduce the incidence of rape and sexual assault through prevention and education and provide the coordination of services to victims of rape and sexual assault and to their families and friends.

Responsible Fatherhood


YMCA Responsible Fatherhood programs offer opportunities for fathers to interact with other fathers, gain parenting skills and interact with their children in a fun, positive environment.

The Sara Isom Center: Violence Prevention Office

University of Mississippi, Oxford

This office promotes awareness of the realities of dating violence, sexual assault and stalking. The program also provides education and training for students, faculty, and staff concerning these topics.

Our comprehensive prevention, education, and advocacy program provide services to the entire campus community to include: education, public awareness, victim referral services, resources, campus programming, and networking.

Resurrection After Exoneration (RAE)

Statewide:  (office in New Orleans)

After being incarcerated for crimes they did not commit, exonerees are faced with an even tougher battle. They must readjust to a world that isn’t waiting with open arms; in most cases, it’s the opposite.   RAE is working to transform the experience of exonerated men and returning long-term prisoners, creating social leaders where there is currently a cycle of recidivism, desperation and poverty.

Mississippi Coalition Against Domestic Violence

Statewide:  Jackson

The mission of the Mississippi Coalition Against Domestic Violence is to bring about social change through advocacy for victims, technical assistance for member shelters, and promoting awareness within communities throughout Mississippi.

Mississippi Coalition Against Sexual Assault (MCASA)

Statewide:  Jackson

The coalition staff is dedicated to increase public awareness on sexual assault issues as well as educate and support the community statewide in our efforts to Break the silence and Stop the violence.
