S.A.V.E. Peer Educators

The Student Anti-Violence Education (SAVE) Program and its leaders believe that students can play a uniquely effective role in encouraging their peers to consider and talk honestly about the issues of sexual assault, domestic violence, and stalking, while developing responsible habits and attitudes towards these issues, as well as seeking professional advice when necessary.

Students of AMF at TCNJ

The College of New Jersey, Ewing Township

The mission of Students of AMF at TCNJ is to provide peer support for college students grieving the illness or death of a loved one and empower the campus community to take action through service.

Students of AMF at Drew

Drew University, Madison

Our chapter consists of a peer-led support group, offering college students who are grieving the illness or death of a loved one the opportunity to share their feelings and experiences with others going through the same experience.

Assault Contact Team (ACT)

Ramapo College, Mahwah

The Ramapo College Assault Contact Team (ACT) is a group of trained professional staff members who provide the campus with services for victims of sexual assault.

Office for Violence Prevention and Victim Assistance (VPVA)

Rutgers University, New Brunswick

VPVA is committed to creating a community free from violence. We provide services designed to raise awareness of and respond to the impact of interpersonal violence and other crimes.

SART (Sexual Assault Response Team)

SART’s trained volunteers trained volunteers provide crisis intervention, information and advocacy to students who report a sexual assault.

Also: DVRT (Domestic Violence Response Team) members work to provide support, information and referral at the time of a domestic violence crisis.

Sexual Harassment/Assault Advising, Resources, and Education (SHARE) serves students, faculty, and staff experiencing verbal and physical sexual harassment, relationship violence, sexual assault, or harassment based on sexual orientation.

New Jersey Coalition Against Sexual Assault (NJCASA)

Statewide: Trenton

The mission of the New Jersey Coalition Against Sexual Assault is to promote the compassionate and just treatment of survivors, their loved ones and significant others, foster collaborative relationships between community systems, and affect attitudinal and behavioral changes in society as we work toward the elimination of sexual violence against all people.

New Jersey Coalition for Battered Women (NJCBW)

Statewide:  Trenton

New Jersey Coalition for Battered Women is a statewide association that provides leadership, support and resources on the prevention of violence against women in New Jersey through advocacy, training, public awareness and research.
