The King’s County Prostate Cancer Support Group (KCPCSG)

Annapolis East Valley

The Kings County Prostate Cancer Support Group (KCPCSG) provides a venue for prostate cancer patients and their partners where they can obtain information to deal effectively with the choices they have to make about appropriate treatment. This cannot of course, replace the discussions they must have with the treating urologist or oncologist but it is useful to prepare for such discussions, discuss these choices with survivors that have experienced these treatments, and receive moral support while facing their treatment and the recovery time.

Men For Change


We are a men’s group based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada that started after the Montreal Massacre in 1989.    Since that time we have worked in the community and in our hearts to promote  healthy and nurturing masculinity.

Movember challenges men to change their appearance and the face of men’s health by growing a moustache. The rules are simple, start Movember 1st clean-shaven and then grow a moustache for the entire month. The moustache becomes the ribbon for men’s health, the means by which awareness and funds are raised for prostate cancer.
