Green Dot Transformation Project

University of Tennessee, Chattanooga

The Project provides leadership working with campus and community partners to reduce violence against women, including relationship violence, sexual assault, and stalking.  The “Green Dot” Campaign is a social norms program that UTC has adopted to demonstrate our committment to making campus safe for all students, faculty and staff.

OASIS (Outreach & Advocacy:  Sexuality Information for Students)

East Tennessee State University, Johnson City

OASIS addresses issues of Dating/Relationship Violence, Sexual Violence, Healthy Sexuality/Relationships.  Our programs are designed to serve the needs of the ETSU population with information, education, training, advocacy, counseling, and referral services.

The Personal Safety Empowerment Program Project (PSEPP)

University of Tennessee – Martin

PSEPP’s purpose is to create an integrated system of prevention and education,

victim support, and law enforcement response that address the specific needs

of a rural community.  PSEPP is committed to expanding counseling and advocacy

services to all victims served by our program.

Project Safe

Vanderbilt University, Nashville

(includes: Every Two Minutes [formerly known as Men Promoting a Solution, or MPAS])  Project Safe is a coordinated campus-wide effort aimed at education, prevention, and response services for Vanderbilt students, faculty, and staff affected by sexual assault, intimate partner abuse, and stalking.

Sexual Assault Center (SAC)


SAC specializes in treatment for sexual assault victims in Middle Tennessee. Our counselors are specialists in the field and worked with more than 800 survivors in 2008/09; half of whom were children.  With treatment, we are able to successfully restore emotional health to children and adults, both male and female.

Tennessee Coalition Against Domestic & Sexual Violence

Statewide:  Nashville

The Tennessee Coalition Against Domestic & Sexual Violence is a private nonprofit organization composed of diverse community leaders and program members who share a common vision of ending violence in the lives of Tennesseans through public policy, advocacy, education and activities that increase the capacity of programs and communities to address violence.
